In 2014, Wilsons fame exploded across the pond in a greater way after she was cast on Showtimes The Affair as Alison Lockhart an unreliable young woman with a dark past that falls in love with the husband of her dreams, Noah Solloway. Wilson was honored with the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress of an Television Series in Drama 2015 alongside Mauratierney and Joshua Jackson. I loved the opportunity to play a character from different perspectives Wilson told British Vogue in the year 2015. Noah believes that Alison to be this confident reckless sexually attractive version of her. But in real life, Alison views herself as dowdy. The actress said "I think America is such a moralistic society and too judgmental. What happens on the show is shocking." She will be adding another film of horror to her credits when she is in the British adaptation of The Little Stranger, a supernatural thriller based on the novel of Sarah Waters. Wilson also produces the film.
