Crew got her first Leo to play Carrie Miller as she starred in CTV's drama Whistler between 2006 and 2008. The film premiered her as Carrie Miller in Final Destination 3 (the third installment in the Final Destination films series) in 2006. She played Julie Christensen who was the little sister of Wendy, the main character in the film. Wendy. Crew first auditioned for the role of Erin Ulmer whereas Alexz Johnson was scheduled to audition as Julie. The two actors swapped roles, however, before shooting. Despite mixed reviews from critics, the film had a huge commercial success with over $117 million in box office revenue worldwide. She made a cameo as a high schooler in the romantic teen comedy John Tucker Must Die, which was negatively received.
